Each sitter is verified through at least one of five trusted background check methods: 3rd-party check, external platform verification, sitter endorsement, pet-related experience, or employer-verified background check. Completing multiple methods earns additional trust badges on their profile.

While sitters are not required to be medically certified, we encourage them to have pet care knowledge and basic first aid awareness. In case of illness or emergency, the sitter will contact you and your preferred vet right away. We're also working to include 24/7 vet telehealth support in the future.

Absolutely! You can message any sitter through the platform to chat and ask questions. Most sitters are happy to schedule a quick Meet & Greet before you book, either online, at your home, or at a local park.

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You're only charged after the sitter accepts your booking and you confirm. Refunds follow the sitter’s cancellation policy — full or partial refunds may apply depending on the notice period.

Our Early Access launch is an early version of FurPalGo that includes the core features you need to connect with verified pet sitters — such as account creation, booking, messaging, and secure payment. It helps us gather feedback and ensure platform reliability. During the Early Access launch, FurPalGo is available in the following states: California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. The official launch will expand upon this by introducing mobile app support (iOS and Android), enhanced user experience, pet adoption, AI chat assistance, pet insurance integration, and broader sitter vetting tools. It will also include a polished UI, improved performance, and broader marketing to reach more users across the country. While the Early Access launch is secure and fully functional, the official release aims for feature completeness and platform scale.

We use secure HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, role-based access control, and partner with trusted third-party providers like Stripe (for payments) and AWS (for hosting). Sensitive data like payment details are never stored on our servers. We follow industry best practices and are continuously monitoring and improving our security measures.
